The Problem

Facebook started to autoplay videos without audio, resulting in a reduction of clickthroughs from Macmillan's case study content.

The Request

Create a case study format that's striking, cheap to produce, and doesn't rely on subtitles to get its point across.

The Solution

Exploit the platform's UX to create a unique format, delivering the elements of a story in three different ways: 1. Background and context through written descriptions, 2. Personal accounts through audio-only interviews, 3. Character and emotion through video portraiture.
